BIO
Anja Nedremo is a Norwegian/Danish saxophonist who produces and performs in concerts internationally. On a daily basis Anja teaches saxophone at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark, where she graduated from the advanced post-graduate studies in April 2018. Her studies also consists of lessons at the Conservatory in Vienna and a postgraduate degree from Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona.
Anja has received many scholarships, amongst other the Norwegian Ticon-prize in 2013. In 2015 she was given the Leonie Sonnings Music Scholarship and in 2017 she received Aennchen and Eigil Harby's Fond.
As a soloist and chamber musician Anja has won many competitions around the world, including the Soloist Competition at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. She has performed as soloist with the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra and the Danish Sinfonietta.
One of Anja’s keenest interests is collaborating with both composers and fellow musicians to contribute to and experiment with the development of contemporary music.
